Client Challenge

• Skin+ had an extremely outdated website
• The site had no real organization and needed a better way to highlight client successes with their acne issues
• The store needed to be rebuilt from the ground up
• The imagery on the site need a major overhaul. Additionally, we wanted to add some product videos to the product pages
• The old site was not responsive
• The client wanted to build/begin a blog and be able to send new posts to her Mailchimp mailing list
• We wanted to provide the users with a service that will help point them towards what products their skin needs

• Met with the store owner to discuss the site needs and wants
• Laid out a new site structure and discussed replacing WooCommerce with BigCommerce
• Consolidated services that we no longer needed due to coming native with BigCommerce, and integrated the store with ShopKeep in order to have better control over product quantities
• The client hired models and a photographer to take high resolution, visually appealing photos and product videos
• Created a better method to highlight the on-site booking consultation
• Brought client testimonials to the forefront by integrating Google Reviews
• Linked to a skin care quiz from the homepage so that users can quickly figure out what acne solution kit will help them solve their issues

• The Skin+ website is a responsive, eye-catching website with a much easier site structure and sitemap
• The store is easier to manage, highlights the products in a much more modern way and features better images and videos
• Clients can now easily find out what skin care products their skin will react best with, and book online consultations
• The store has been optimized to allow the client to no longer need certain third party services and better promote the products for sale
